Important photo op information.
What is a photo op?
A photo op is a professional photo of you with the celebrity guest you chose. You will get a photo taken under ideal lighting conditions and shot with professional camera equipment. You will receive an 8×10” print of your photo printed on professional dye-sublimation photo printers.

Tickets Purchased On-line.
Please print out your ticket with the QR code in order to redeem it at the show.

Photo Op Schedule
The photo op schedule is posted on the convention’s page on CelebPhotoOps.com upcoming events listing. Please be sure recheck the schedule at show time as well because all scheduling is subject to change. There will be a revision number at the top of the schedule so you will know you are looking at the most recent version.

How many fans can be in one photo with one ticket?
For each ticket purchased you may have two adult fans in the photo. In the case of families, you may have two adults plus up to three children under 16. If you would like to have more than two adults, an additional ticket purchase is required. I.E. If you would like 3-4 adults, 2 total photo op tickets must be purchased and used for that photo. If you would like 5-6 adults, 3 total photo op tickets must be purchased and used for that photo.

Photo Op Queue
Queue for photo ops are created approximately 30 minutes prior to the start time of the photo op. Boards near the line entrance will list the current photo op line assignments or time for upcoming line assignments. Unofficial or fan created lines (any lines started outside the queue area) will not be honored when official lines are created. If your line is not currently listed on the line assignment board or has not reached the start time for the queuing to begin, please enjoy the rest of the show until the time has come for you to queue. Often times the photo op queue area will fill up entirely, please stay within your assigned line space. If you leave the lines for any reason, we cannot guarantee your place back in line. Only ticketed attendees or those in the photo with them are allowed in the queue area. Parents of underage children may wait in line with them. Some photo ops only last a matter of minutes. Please be sure to be on time at the latest.
If you have special needs or are caring for a special needs fan, please speak with our line staff before entering the queue area.
We urge you to NOT come to the photo op queue area any longer than 30 minutes before the start time for queuing. This causes major congenstion and can hinder other fans from queueing for ops prior to yours.

Photo Op Room.
Upon entering the photo op room, please have your photo op card out and ready. Have all backpacks, purses, jackets, lanyards or any items you do not want in the photo off and ready to place on the table provided inside. You will not be more than a couple steps from your items at any time. NO AUTOGRAPHS, PERSONAL PHOTO OR VIDEO RECORDING DEVICES ARE ALLOWED IN THE PHOTO OP ROOM. Due to safety concerns we ask that you do not bring strollers into the photo op room.

Expected etiquette.
Please be respectful of the celebrity guests and other fans in line. Keep hands above the waist. To ensure the health and safety of the guests and fans, absolutely no kissing the guests as asking to be kissed by them. ANY attempt at kissing may lead to the loss of your photo op with no refund. Be sure to listen for special instructions for each celebrity guest. Photo ops are not a meet and greet, they are a fast process so in order to ensure that each fan has the opportunity to get their photo taken and that the photos turn out the best quality possible we ask that you listen carefully to prompts given by the in room staff as well as the photographer. You will be given a “READY” prompt by the photographer before he/she shoots your photo, so please pay attention. Any confirmed line jumping will result in your being moved to the end of the line for that photo op.
Due to safety concerns, we ask that there is no kissing of the guests or asking the guests to kiss you.

VIPs
In the case of VIP sales, the VIP lines will be separate from general admission and will enter the photo op room first.

Glasses
Glasses often glare or make it very difficult for the photographer to see if you blinked, so please try to remove them if possible. If you cannot remove them please be sure to try and tilt the glasses down away from the lights.

Blinks
Or photographers watch for blinks however sometimes they are missed. If when you pick up your print and a blink is noticed, please let us know immediately. We will get you back in for a re-shoot of your photo.

Poses
If you have a specific pose in mind, you must be ready when it is your turn to ASK the guest if they would be willing to do your pose. Again, photo ops are a fast process so be ready when it is your turn. Not all guests will participate in specific poses.

After your photo op
Simply follow the yellow stripe at the photo op room exit to the print pickup area where you print will be handed to you in about 45-60 seconds.

Add-ons (digital downloads and additional prints)
Be sure to redeem your add-on cards or tickets after picking up your initial physical print. You may do so with our computer tech in the print pickup area OR at photo op sales & redemption. If you do not do this your digital download or additional print will not be made available to you. You only need to stop at the attendant manning the print station if you have an add-on. Otherwise once you have your print you can go have a blast at the show!

Admission Tickets
Photo op tickets are NOT an admission ticket to the show. A show admission ticket must be purchased in conjunction with the photo op ticket.

REFUND INFORMATION AND POLICIES

If the guest was part of a duo photo op, the photo op will be refunded, the same process applies as with solo photo ops of the guest. If the guest was part of a trio or cast, the photo op ticket will remain active and the photo op will still take place however, the cancelled guest’s portion will be refunded to you in cash at the show upon redemption of your ticket.
3. If you miss your photo op time. Photo op tickets for missed photo ops are non-refundable. you may only exchange your photo op ticket for another available photo op ticket (you will be refunded the difference in cash or you may pay in the case of an upgrade). Please be sure to check the photo op schedule for times when we get closer to the show date. You will also want to verify your photo op times at showtime as the photo op schedule is subject to change. The schedule will be listed on this event’s page listed here: Heroes & Villains Fan Fest Chicago 2016. As stated be sure to be 15-30 minutes early for your photo op, we are not responsible for the length of time any photo op lasts. Please do not show up right before the start time of the op that follows yours in hopes of avoiding lines because chances are the guest you are looking for is already gone from the photo op room.

Photo Op prices are subject to change at ANY time for ANY reason. However if you have already purchased a photo op, the only price increase you may have to be responsible for would be in the event of an increase in guests who are participating in a group photo. You will be given the option of a refund or an upgrade in these cases.
