Photo Op Tickets
Tickets go on sale Tuesday Feb 20, 2018 at 8:00 PM GMT
Online ticket sales end Friday May 25 at 1PM London Time. There will be no onsite sales (with the exception being additional prints), so be sure to purchase your photo op tickets in advance.
We will be in box office Friday 5-25-18 from 1-8PM London time for online ticket redemption. We simply cannot stress enough how important it is for you to try to come on Friday. It will help make your convention experience on Saturday & Sunday much more enjoyable.
Otherwise photo op redemption will be open during regular show hours and will be in the photo op area in the rear of the hall.
Photo ops are ready in around 45-60 seconds with our “Print it in a Minute” technology!
Statement about buying photo op tickets second hand!
We strongly recommend you do not buy or trade photo op tickets second hand from other sellers or attendees. The QR code on a photo op ticket can be redeemed once and only once. If the seller has either falsified or reproduced and sold the same ticket to numerous other buyers, there is a good chance the ticket will not scan and you will not receive your photo op.
Celeb Photo Ops will not be held responsible in any way for falsified, reproduction, or any second hand purchasing or trading of tickets. Celeb Photo Ops will not support, replace, exchange or sell new tickets to those who have purchased or traded their tickets second hand. Celeb Photo Ops also will not replace, refund or support tickets that have already been scanned and come up previously scanned.
In the event of a refund for a cancellation or any other reason, the recipient of the refund is always the original ticket purchaser. We will not send any refunds to second hand purchasers.
Important photo op information.
What is a photo op?
A photo op is a professional photo of you with the celebrity guest you choose. You will get a photo taken under ideal lighting conditions and shot with professional camera equipment. You will receive an 8×10” print of your photo printed on professional dye-sublimation photo printers.
Please understand that a photo op is not a meet and greet, it is a rapidly moving process. It is important you listen for prompts from the line attendants and the photographer to ensure you get the best photo possible. |
Tickets Purchased On-line
Please print out your ticket with the QR code (not your receipt) in order to redeem it at photo op sales and redemption during early registration box hours of 12PM-?PM or at photo op sales & redemption during show hours. You may bring your ticket on your phone however please have it ready when you are redeeming. You may redeem your tickets at any time prior to your photo op (even for ops the next day). There is no need to rush to photo op redemption early in the morning, they may be redeemed any time throughout the day prior to your photo op.
Clashing Photo Op Times
Typically as a general rule, you will need to allow 15 minutes between photo ops. If you have two photo ops at the same time, we do suggest moving one of those photo ops to another day by emailing us your ticket information so we may swap your ticket. Please keep in mind, we cannot swap you into a day or group for a photo op if it is sold out. If you are only attending one day, we would suggest a refund on one ticket by 5-23-17 at the latest.
Some exceptions to this.
First if there is a duo photo op and a solo photo op for a celebrity that is in the duo listed on the schedule at the same time, those are typically done in the order of the duo then solos. For example, if you have a Gotham Duo with Robin Lord Taylor & Drew Powell and you also have a Drew Powell solo but they are shown on the schedule at the same time, you will do your duo first, then the solo. However, it would be beneficial to let the ticket attendant inside the photo op room know if you are towards the end of the duo line that you do have a Drew solo.
Next, if you have a high volume Photo Op scheduled at the same time a much lower volume photo op, you will want to do the lower volume photo op first then proceed to the high volume. In other words, if you look at the TV at the entrance, then at the lines designated for the ops you have and notice one has about 175 people in line and the other has 5, you will want to do the op that has 5 people in line first. To avoid confusion you can also ask the queue entrance attendant which like is shorter then proceed to the shortest line.
If you have two high volume guests scheduled at the exact same time (I.E. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Norman Reedus) we would suggest trying to swap group designation on your tickets. While we would love to not have the high volume guests running at the same time, it is pretty much unavoidable. So if your JDM A Group is scheduled at the same time as your Norman Reedus C Group we would suggest trying to swap one of those groups for groups that do not clash.
Platinum and Gold VIP Ticket Holders
You do not need to redeem your platinum and or gold photo op redemption cards prior to getting in line for your photo op. You will turn these in inside the photo op room when you go in for your photo.
Many of celebrity guests who sell a high volume of tickets will have a designated time on the photo op schedule for Platinum or Gold badge holders. If you are a Platinum or Gold badge holder and you have a ticket for an op that has a designated Platinum or Gold time you are asked to arrive at that time for your photo op, even if your are using a GA photo op ticket. If you choose not to come at the designated Platinum or Gold time when one is applicable, you may come during the Group you have purchased the ticket for (A Group, B Group, etc). However please note, we will not have Platinum or Gold specific lines for Groups, you will need to enter in the standard VIP line.
Platinum and or Gold redemption cards can only be redeemed for individual photo ops only and cannot be used for any duo, trio or group photo ops. |
Photo Op Schedule
The photo op schedule is posted at the top of this page once it is available. Please be sure to check the schedule at show time as well because all scheduling is subject to change. There will be a revision number at the top of the schedule (I.E. REV 1.2) so you will know you are looking at the most recent version. The photo op schedule is subject to change at any time.
How many fans can be in one photo with one ticket?
For each ticket purchased you may have two adult fans in the photo. In the case of families, you may have two adults plus three children under 16. If you would like to have more than two adults additional ticket purchases may be required. I.E. If you would like 3-4 adults, 2 total photo op tickets must be purchased and used for that photo. If you would like 5-6 adults, 3 total photo op tickets must be purchased and used for that photo. The large cast ops (those with 10 or more celebrity guests in them) allow for a total of four fans, adult or otherwise.
Day Specific tickets and Group designations (A Group, B Group, Etc).
Tickets are sold on a day specific basis, you will choose the day you prefer to have your photo op when adding your ticket to your cart. Your ticket must be used on the day designated.
Some tickets will have a group designation as well, such as “Norman Reedus Saturday A Group”. This means this is usable during Norman’s scheduled Group A photo op time on the day you chose the ticket for (these times will be displayed on the photo op schedule). Group designations are typically set up for guests who sell a very high number of photo ops, so please try and be aware of the group you have chosen and only come for your op at that time. Please, if you have a group C photo op ticket, do not show up for the Group A time, it will only slow the process, increasing wait times for everyone.
Please keep in mind, if you have an A Group ticket and you miss your A Group time (after the start time of the next group), it is indeed considered a missed photo op. You may exchange missed photo op tickets for available photo ops at our sales and redemption area. You cannot switch into another group that is sold out, You will be removed from that group’s line if your group letter on your ticket does not match the currently queuing group.
Group designations do not mean you will have a group of other fans in your photo, it is simply an indicator of the time slot you will arrive to queue for your photo op |
Photo Op Queue
Queue for photo ops are created approximately 30 minutes prior to the start time of the photo op. Boards near the line entrance will list the current photo op line assignments or time for upcoming line assignments. Unofficial or fan created lines will not be honored when official lines are created.
If your line is not currently listed on the line assignment board or has not reached the start time for the line, please enjoy the rest of the show until the time has come for your line to start. Please do not stand around the photo op queue entrance awaiting your line to start as it can great congest the queue entrance and prevent fans who are trying to get into the queue for the currently running photo ops from getting their op.
Often times the photo op queue area will fill up entirely, please stay within your assigned line space. If you leave the lines for any reason, we cannot guarantee your place back in line. Only ticketed attendees or those in the photo with them are allowed in the queue area. Parents of underage children may wait in line with them. If you have special needs or are caring for a special needs fan, please speak with our line staff before entering the queue area.
Any confirmed line jumping will result in your being moved to the end of the line for that photo op.
Please arrive for your photo op 15-30 minutes prior to the photo op scheduled time, however do not arrive more than 30 minutes prior. Arriving too early for your photo op will congest the queue entrance and greatly hinder our staff in queuing fans! |
Line Assignment TV! When you arrive at the queue entrance we will have a TV there to assist you in finding the line for your photo op. If there is a LINE NUMBER listed next to the photo op you have arrived for, you can proceed to that line, there is no need to ask the attendant at the door what line to get into if you already know. If there is a TIME listed, that is the START TIME FOR THE QUEUE LINE for that photo op. Times shown on the TV are 30 minutes prior to the start time of the actual photo op, as that is when the queue line opens for a photo op. If a time is shown on the TV for your photo op, please go enjoy the rest of the show and return at the time listed on the TV. |
Photo Op Room.
Upon entering the photo op room, please have your photo op card out and ready. Have all backpacks, purses, jackets, lanyards or any items you do not want in the photo off and ready to place on the table provided inside. You will not be more than a couple steps from your items.
Expected etiquette.
Please be respectful of the celebrity guests and other fans in line. Keep hands above the waist.
Be sure to listen for special instructions for each celebrity guest.
NO AUTOGRAPHS, PERSONAL PHOTO OR VIDEO RECORDING DEVICES ARE ALLOWED IN THE PHOTO OP ROOM.
In order to ensure the health and safety of the guests as well as other fans, there is absolutely no kissing the guests or asking to be kissed by them. Attempting to kiss a guest may result in the loss of your photo op without refund |
General
Photo ops are not a meet and greet, they are a very fast process. In order to be sure that every gets their photo and that the photos turn out the best quality possible we ask that you listen carefully to prompts given by the in room staff as well as the photographer. You will be given a “READY” prompt by the photographer before he/she shoots your photo, so please pay attention.
Glasses
Glasses often glare or make it very difficult for the photographer to see if you blinked, so please try to remove them if possible. If you cannot remove them please be sure to try and tilt the glasses down away from the lights.
Blinks
Our photographers watch for blinks however sometimes they are missed. If when you pick up your print and a blink is noticed, please let us know immediately to ensure the guest is still in the room and we will put you back in for a retake.
Please understand that a photo op is not a meet and greet, it is a rapidly moving process. It is important you listen for prompts from the line attendants and the photographer to ensure you get the best photo possible. |
After your photo op
Simply follow the brightly colored tape stripe on the floor at the photo op room exit. It will lead you to the print pickup area where you print will be handed to you in about 45-60 seconds. Once you have your print, you do not need to proceed to any more lines at the print pickup area unless you have a photo op Add-on such as a digital download or additional print. You may take your add-on ticket to the print station attendant or to photo op sales to have your add-on fulfilled.
Add-ons (digital downloads and additional prints)
Be sure to redeem your add-on cards or tickets after picking up your initial physical print. You may do so with our computer tech in the print pickup area OR at photo op sales. If you do not do this your digital download or additional print will not be made available. Due to the size of the image and the complexity of many email addresses, digital downloads are not emailed, however they are made available to download from our website. Once redeemed, they are uploaded within seconds of redemption and are available continuously via our simple web form and also can be downloaded as many times as needed.
Admission
Tickets Photo op tickets are NOT an admission ticket to the show. A show admission ticket must be purchased in conjunction with the photo op ticket.
We do not support or condone the purchasing or sales of tickets second hand.
If you did not purchase a ticket from us, please do not expect us to give any support or assistance for this ticket. We only provide support to the original purchaser of a ticket. QR codes can only be scanned once. If the person you purchased the ticket from also sold the ticket to others or it is a fake ticket, you now have a useless piece of paper. We cannot offer you any assistance with this. Also, if a guest cancels, you will receive no refund, only the original purchaser will receive the refund. Over the past year we have turned away no fewer than 100 fans who spent their hard earned money on fake tickets, only to walk away empty handed. Don’t let that happen to you. Do not purchase or trade tickets second hand!!
